Unique Americanisms I can't quite get with...

We say a lot of crazy things in America that is uniquely ours, some are true, some are funny and some are profound. Every once in a while I come across a phrase or two that really irk me. I grew up with the phrase "Take a shit". Now being the only girl in my house, beside my Mother, and spending most of my time observing boys, I've heard this phrase quite often. My thinking is, I might LEAVE a shit and sometimes I GIVE a shit but I ain't TAKING a shit nowhere. What are you into? Unless you're a proctologist maybe you should leave the "shit" alone. I'm not with that.

I LOVE MUSIC!!

For the last twenty years I have been supremely disappointed with the music scene. Objectification, nonsensical mi sh-mash of redesigned samples and tracks that have NO imagination and say absolutely nothing. There are a few young artist that give a glimmer of hope that creativity may be on the rise. One artist in particular was brought to my attention by a friend. Kyle Jason has been in the game a long time and although super stardom has not reached his doorstep he has been true and skillful with his craft. About "super stardom", maybe that's our fault as consumers, we tend to be lazy as music appreciators and will buy anything that we we hear on a consistent basis while we drive to work.
The industry has the formula, bumping track, hot ass or talking about hot ass, fast video and put it everywhere all at once. When will we learn? Aren't we usually disappointed when we attend concerts of these people? It's more of a light and dance show than a energetic jam session of a great musician. Well I am really interested in the new creation of Kyle Jason "Something That Matters". I listened to his tracks on his site www.kylejason.com and it moved me to find his other projects.
I'll be honest I never heard of the brother but I tell you I'll not forget. Kyle Jason has a massive inventory on the Internet of songs and videos that are very interesting and give me hope that if the new artists want a clue as to how to create and present GOOD music, they need to take their cue's from Kyle Jason.
The lyrics alone could stand on they're own, yet he adds his musical styling's that increases the value, musically, of the piece. If you are a TRUE music lover, you should check out Kyle Jason, you won't be disappointed and I have a sneaking suspicion that super stardom is not that far away from this artist. It's up to the TRUE music lovers.
